If you have facebook, there is a group with 200+ thousand members called: “Cancel Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy”
There is also a petition which you can find there.

f you have looming student loans here is your solution: register for Peace Corps service thereby deferring your student loan, then after your 2 year term is up, simply re register for another tour of duty. Keep deferring until you find a nice warm country to disappear to…

Thanks! Both of our episodes were written and filmed by students. Unfortunately, we don’t plan on releasing any more at this time, but we appreciate the kudos!!!

How many students have an $80,000 credit line?
December 27th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
Government should be taken to the cleaners for what they have done to people and student loans. What they did was change the terms of the contract without approval. That is a criminal act. I guess crime does pay.

I don’t think someone filing for bankruptcy would be very concern about a credit score. ???
December 29th, 2009 at 11:24 pm
Great idea! Then your credit score will be around…… 105!

This is awesome =D! I just took out a stupid student loan for next year, so I’m feeling the pain right now.

yep! With this new bankrupcy law, student loans are exempt and cannot be declared and even like that interest went up to 8%!!! A credit card gives me a better deal, 0% apr for a years.. let’s just pay the student loans w/cc and if thigs get so taugh that u need to file all debts are discharged!

Instead of getting student loans, they should have financed their college education on credit cards and then filed bankruptcy. Credit Card debts are easier to get out of.
