The Fed controls monetary policy independently from politization from politicians and regulates the money supply.
The Treasury manages the receipts and outlays of the federal government.
The Treasury receives capital from taxes and by selling treasury bond debt.

yet no democrat congressman want to sign on to audit the federal reserve and its owners, the member banks who are able to make money out of nothing.

Every time we have waste, fraud and abuse it turns out that the Republican Party have their hand in it. If the Fed reveals who they loaned the money to that is the kiss of death for that institution.
Private capital would view that institution as failing, panic and withdraw their capital and destroy that institution and the Fed’s loan.
