Viva Chavez

High Five for that statement ,Mate!

  4. PloughTheSky Says:

Chomsky isn’t a communist. Governments don’t like him because he’s great at exposing their disinformation and denouncing their terrorist tendencies. If hypocrisy was one of the governments’ criteria to chose the people they respect or do not respect, we’d live in a perfect world.

  5. PloughTheSky Says:

I have the impression that autoritarianism in Cuba has, perhaps, something to do with the way the US has been assaulting this country from the start, destroying its economy by embargo, waging terror campaigns in Cuba that killed thousands, threatened to bomb and invade it, tried to murder its leaders and overthrow its government all the time… Also look at the missile crisis: the main reason why Cuba accepted the Soviet missiles was to thwart the US attempt to invade it (and it was successful!)

people, it is all about democracy,
the poor in latin america (who are the majority of the people) are making finaly their own decisions, like western europe did in the last century. look it up and you will find that we had the same political battle like they have now. and thats common sence, and yeah 2 wars were necessary to get were we are now!
watch the bbc documantary, great ideas that changed the world, with tony benn title DEMOCRACY educate yourself !! peace

  7. ShockBack Says:

You have such an elementary understand of Chomsky and, separately, of Communism. Chomsky is one of the most vocal advocates for free speech in the world… You’re colonial mindset has led you to believe that those who advocate for the policies of Communism — which Chomsky is hardly a figurehead for — must be poor.

I like Representative Press’ very thorough material. But I do not like it when you put another person’s voice over Hugo Chávez or any other, just because they don’t speak English. I want to hear the original. You are texting anyway. Because of that: 3 stars.

  9. evane1989 Says:

    He is hardly a hypocrite.

  11. Emyousmusa Says:

You know what is extremly fucked up about he’s comments is the fact that it is a true observation of our governments policies, in the media they make him as a buffoon, crazy man, and that is not the case…

  12. NastyGreaser Says:

sure. the problem is the us is taken over by international bankers. who want to enslave the world and misuse the us as military arm.

so if we had a society like back then in 1800- 1850, after lincoln imposed some stronger gov, you had a very weak gov. and that was good. people could take care of the sick and poor ones. at least good christians did.
however, you see that both systems have failed, because they led to nothing good.
I think we should learn from each other and take that what worked

I mentioned rights everyone has in Cuba: food, education, health, shelter. It’s not the case in the US. There are some press restrictions in Cuba, yes, no one is saying it’s perfect but you have to understand the constant pressure it suffers. On the other hand, they haven’t ever violated any human rights in foreign countries (they even sent soldiers to fight against the apartheid and doctors to many suffering third world countries), something you can’t say about the US, who oppresses the world.

  14. HudsonRand Says:

I’ve been there. It *****. Not so much the country or the land, it’s the American people who really make it a bad neighborhood. Let’s not forget the Anglo imperialists first acts of genocide.

  15. MuslimApostate Says:

says the moron who doesn’t even live there.

  16. HudsonRand Says:

The US is a big stinky piece of Zionist ****.

  19. franciscodepaulasant Says:

So, you think Chavez must get down own his knees???? He’s not seeking confrontation that’s like looking forward to fight with the 250 pounds school bully ……he’s just trying to wake up people, specially Americans

  20. pt1200 Says:

Amerikan propaganda system has failed b/c it was modeled upon Christianity.Christianity was Roman war propaganda against the Jews and nonwhites. New testament was written by Romans to demean and destroy Judaism.Titus Flavius who destroyed the Jewish Temple commissioned the Christian hoax as a replacement for Judaism. Titus’ Flavius military campaign against Jerusalem was transformed into Jesus ministry against Judaism

  21. Gloobsy67 Says:

The definition of a dictator is “An absolute ruler”. How is Chavez a dictator when he has less power than a US president on both a global, and national scale? He also was elected by a majority of his people (more than you can say about Bush’s first term election), and remains favorable by a majority of his people (more than you can say about virtualy Bush’s entire second term).
